Yes! We are currently in the process of credentialing with national and Ohio health insurance providers.
We are currently in network for: Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare
We should be in network SOON for Medical Mutual and Anthem.
Coverage varies by insurance plan for most health insurance, so call your provider and as if they cover for medical nutrition therapy (CPT codes 97802 and 97803). Insurance coverage varies widely depending on your plan so it is best to call your insurance company and ask them to explain your benefit for the codes above.

At this time sessions will either be virtual (video) visits or phone visits. After our introduction call you will have access to the booking page, and when you book you can choose if you’d prefer a virtual (video) call or a phone call. NOTE - if you plan to use insurance to pay for the visit it is required that it is a virtual call.
There may be a few exceptions where in person visits are available. We can discuss this during our free phone consult.

Initial sessions will be 60-90 minutes, and follow up sessions will be 30-45 minutes; however session length can always be adjusted as needed based on individual needs.

If you book a dietitian visit that means we will be discussing food in a lot more detail. I will gather information about your current diet, review and evaluate that information, and share with you specific changes that can help you to prevent or treat diseases like diabetes, obesity, heart disease, etc. We can also discuss behavior change strategies to help you implement these changes. Only dietitian visits can be billed to insurance.
If you book a coaching visit we cannot discuss your diet in detail. I can still collect your dietary information, but I cannot evaluate it and give specific recommendations. I can give you general recommendations for healthy eating as needed, but really the bulk of the discussion will be identifying your personal needs and goals, and working together to come up with strategies to support behavior change.

Pricing will vary depending on your individual needs. If you are interested in working with me, book a free 15 minute phone consultation so that we can discuss your goals, ensure that we are a good fit, and discuss pricing and packages.

The 6 or 12 visit packages allow you to pay ahead of time for a lower cost than paying for every session separately. This commitment can help you to stay consistent in working on your goals, and is also a lower price than if you booked the sessions separately. Evidence shows that people who have more frequent and consistent visits are more likely to meet their goals.
